Institute
Training is available to beginning through professional level dancers. All students learn not only the techniques and skills of dance, but also an appreciation of the art form in the exciting, supportive and demanding environment of a private school. The faculty provides a constant, energizing presence, motivating each dancer to achieve his or her highest goals.
The curriculum of the Institute offers classical ballet, pointe, jazz, modern, tap, lyrical and hip hop classes, all taught at the highest of standards. Classes are offered at several different levels and times to give students flexibility to choose the classes most convenient for them.
AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE® National Training Curriculum
Ballet Royale is proud to include the AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE® National Training Curriculum, a breakthrough 8 level program that combines high quality artistic training with the basics of dancer health and child development. The ABT® National Training Curriculum consists of a comprehensive set of age-appropriate, outcome-based guidelines to provide the highest quality training to dance students of all ages and skill levels. Primary through Level 7 will be taught by ABT® Certified Teachers, who have successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Primary through Level 7 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum.

Ballet - As on of the oldest and traditional forms of dance, Classical Ballet centers on proper technique and body alignment and celebrates poise, grace, and artistry as its cornerstones.
Jazz - Uses rhythmically entertaining music, often popular songs, to motiovate the movemnet. Isolations, floorwork, and cheoreography are parts of Jazz Technique.
Lyrical - A fusion of Ballet, Modern, and Jazz where emotional quality of movement is emphasized.
Tap - A rhythmic, percussive style of dance that focuses on the different patterns of sound that can be made with the different parts of the feet.
Theatre Dance - Incorporates traditional and current Broadway hits to create production-like pieces of choreography. Focuses on showmanship, energy, and presentation, as well as technical achievement.
Modern - Uses abstract movement in addition to classical technique to produce steps that are powerful, aesthetic, and strong.
